Supper Popover


1 lb ground beef
1 - 15 oz can tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 Tblsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp parsley flakes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 egss
1 cup milk
1 Tblsp vegetable oil
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tblsp chopped green onion


Pre-heat oven to 425F
cook ground beef until brown and strain
Stir in tomato sauce, bell pepper, 2 Tblsp flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp parley flakes
Bring combination to a boil
Boil and stir for 1 minute
Pour into an ungreased 13x9x2 rectangular pan
Sprinkle cheese on top
Beat eggs, milk, oil, 1 cup flour, and 1/2 tsp salt with hand beater or wisp until smooth
Pour over cheese
Sprinkle with green onions
Bake 25-30 minutes until puffy and golden brown
Serve Immediately
